Travel Journal #5:That was That

I'm back from my trip to Playa Blanca and I have to say, I had a very pleasant time there. Well, first of all, I saw somebody I know there, and my sister was incredibly nice through out our vacation and I got a bit sun-burnt and oh, never mind I'll try to just tell you in a non-boring way.

Anyways, so we all woke up quite early on New Year so of course, we all patted each other on the backs and had breakfast (traditional rice cakes. Mm...). Soon we were all set to go. I heaved my not-so-heavy suit case across the hall, almost bumping into my sister's metal suit case (ugh!) I glanced at the mirror once more just to check I didn't look horrifyingly like a clueless tourist and well, thank goodness I didn't! I was wearing my new plae blue jeans (which was VERY cheap and was surprisingly comfortable) and had my pink Abercrombie shirt that my dad had got me for my extra Christmas present and my little lady-bug-shape suit case kind of spoiled the way I was going for a nice light sort of look, where as my suit case was deep blue and was NOT pretty!

Anyways (again), I slept in the car for quite a while with my ear phones (from my ipod) still attached to my ears and we HAD to stop for fuel in El Valle (God knows why we were there in the first place!) and I petted this stray dog that was alarmingly CUTE. (My sister squirted me with hand sanitizer afterward) We got back on the high-way and I resumed my nap. On the way, we saw that second-biggest pool in the world. I was sort of disappointed... that I couldn't see much, but we were finally at the hotel! (Before this entree goes on with three days of boredom, I'll just make sure that you all just skim through this entree!).

So, my first day wasnt so bad. We went to the beach (NOT a pretty place) and my dad got me on a jet ski for the first time ever and we drove into the sea tangling with a few waves and letting the salty air brush like fingers into our hair like a bus morning as someone tries to hastily comb our hairs. Of course my sister had a go as well and that was that for our first day there.

Our second day was like the same but that night I had a lot of trouble sleeping since my sister made me watch Poseidon that happened to be showing on TV (P.S: I HATE Poseidon!!!).

Our third day was OK I suppose. But the sad part was, we had to live extra early because we were infromed there was alot of traffic so that was that for my 'fabulous' holiday.

Now all thats left of it is the few photos that my dad had took and my sun burn and the sun bleach in my hair.
